Coronavirus and what comes next.
2020 has not be the greatest of years for any of us due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has swept throughout the world. As you can imagine, with me being an entertainer/actor it has had a massive impact on my business. With no venues/theatres oepning, no films filming and not weddings/parties able to go ahead I've not been able to go out and perform. However It try and look at the silver lining and I am still healthy and luckily none of my friends and family have caught this awful virus, and I really hope anyone reading this can say the same.
During lockdown I've kept myself busy. I made a little series of videos called Isolation Magic for my YouTube channel. I'm no videographer so will admit they are not of the quality of my promo videos (always hire a pro!). I also took part in some live onine shows. They were interesting and myself and the other performers helped raise some money for some worthy causes, but I must admit from a performance point it felt a little odd. the audience could react throught online chat system, but I can't really pay attention to that whilst performing. Not seeing or hearing the audience is an odd feeling. It felt more like a practice session than a performance, but that isn't a bad thing. It's always good to practice, and the added bonus of an audience (even if I can't see them) is I have to give 100%.
Despite everything that is happening I am still taking bookings for christmas and next year so if you have an event planned please get in touch. With the easing of lockdown I hope we can all have full on parties again soon. Until then I am offering garden/drive way shows. At the time of writing Government Guidlines state that you can have a maximum of 6 people in your garden from two different homes. If you are a family of 5 (or less) I can be the last person and give you an entertaining show with social distancing in mind.
If you would like to book that or for an event in the future please get in touch. And please stay safe :-)
All the best
