You will be amused by his incredible wit and dry sense of humour, but don't let that distract you from the incredibly powerful magic that you will witness! Darren McQuade is a professional actor and magician. He has been performing for 30 years, learning his first tricks from the Paul Daniels magic set at the age of 5. He grew up watching and studying the greats of magic, his favourites being Penn & Teller!

 

Over the last three decades he has gone on to become one of the UK's top illusionists, working all around the globe. He was the resident magicians at Castaways Entertainment Restaurant, the largest entertainment restaurant in the UK, for 5 years. He has part of the prestigious London Palladiums 100th Anniversary celebrations, and is the host/producer on The Magicians Showcase, the capitals top monthly magic night. His clients include Genting Club, Aspers Casino, Royal Mail, AIG and C2C just to name a few.

 

Darren trained in Acting at City Academy, RADA and LAMDA has appeared on stage and screen. Earlier this year he played Sir Danvers Carew in The Strange Case od Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and Inspector Ruffing in the hit mystery Widdershins. He has also appeared on Channel 4s Loaded and BBC4's Revolutions.
